Nadat een Franse prostituee dood wordt aangetroffen, wordt een van haar vaste cliënten berecht en veroordeeld voor moord. Hij wordt uiteindelijk ter dood veroordeeld, maar sterft tijdens een snelle achtervolging nadat hij heeft geprobeerd aan zijn hechtenis te ontsnappen. Al snel worden de getuigen die tegen hem hebben getuigd systematisch vermoord door een mysterieuze moordenaar die zwarte handschoenen draagt.
