'Stronger' is het waargebeurde verhaal van Jeff Bauman, een doodgewone man die het symbool van hoop werd na de aanslag op de Boston Marathon in 2013. In een poging de liefde van zijn ex-vriendin Erin terug te winnen, wacht de 27-jarige Jeff haar op bij de finish van de Boston Marathon op het moment van de aanslag en verliest beide benen. Als hij in het ziekenhuis weer bij kennis komt, helpt Jeff het politieonderzoek door een van de daders te identificeren, maar zijn eigen strijd moet dan nog beginnen. Met de onvoorwaardelijke steun van Erin en zijn familie gaat Jeff door een maandenlang fysiek en emotioneel revalidatieproces.
Nee, helaas is Stronger nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
