Plot

De met schuldgevoelens worstelende Martin zit op een landweggetje te wachten op een auto die hem aan wil rijden, net zoals hij een paar jaar eerder iemand doodde in een auto-ongeluk. Dat incident ruïneerde zijn contact met familie en zijn huwelijk, waardoor hij nu niets meer heeft om voor te leven. De eerste auto dat aan komt rijden wordt bestuurd door zijn zus Claire. Ze lijkt op tijd te kunnen stoppen, maar toch komen ze beiden korte tijd later om het leven. De politie wacht nu de taak om dit vreemde ongeluk te onderzoeken.
