Rijke playboy Charley Pearl ontmoet Vicki Anderson, een zangeres, in een nachtclub. Ze voelen zich tot elkaar aangetrokken en gaan met elkaar naar bed. Maar dan ontdekt hij dat ze de vriendin is van gangsterbaas Bugsy Siegel en als die hun twee in bed vindt, dwingt hij hen om te trouwen.
