Plot

Jim "Lucky" Moore, een verzekeringsagent, bedenkt een nieuwe polis voor zijn vriend Steve: een 'liefdesverzekering', die $ 1 miljoen zal uitbetalen als Steve niet met zijn verloofde, Cynthia, trouwt. Het aanstaande huwelijk wordt in gevaar gebracht door Steve's ex-vriendin, Mickey, en Cynthia's afkeurende tante Kitty. Het beleid wordt onderschreven door een nachtclubeigenaar, Roscoe, die twee handhavers stuurt, Abbott en Costello, om ervoor te zorgen dat de bruiloft plaatsvindt zoals gepland.
