Wanneer Buddy Riley (Jack Noseworthy) uit de gevangenis komt, belooft hij zijn mooie jonge vrouw, Marie (Laura Leighton) dat hij op het rechte pad zal blijven. Omdat Jack geen geld heeft om zijn familie te onderhouden, besluit hij om met zijn twee jeugdvrienden, E.J. en Tomme Lee, een drankzaak te overvallen. Hiermee hoopt hij genoeg geld te bemachtigen om de stad uit te komen en een nieuw leven te beginnen.
