Na de burgeroorlog loopt een jongen van 12 uit het zuiden weg van zijn pleeggezin, zwerft door het platteland en ontmoet onderweg verschillende vreemde figuren, waaronder Milo, een mysterieuze zwerver die al dan niet de wraakzuchtige 'Fool Killer' van de folklore is.
Nee, helaas is The Fool Killer nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
