Faustus (Jones) is een bediende in het St. Johns, de afdeling van onderwijs in Newfoundland. Hij droomt er van om de machthebber van Newfoundland te worden en het af te scheiden van Canada. Terug in de echte wereld probeert de baas van Faustus, Robert Joy, de inwoners te indoctrineren door middel van een theorie die bekend staat als Totaal Onderwijs. Maar Joy kan elk moment tegengewerkt worden door zijn verleden als flamencodanser.
Nee, helaas is The Adventure of Faustus Bidgood nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
