Drie studenten zijn bezig met hun studie naar de angsten van mensen. Na verloop van tijd krijgt één van hen, Quaid (Shaun Evans), een ingeving: hij vat het idee op in het reine met zichzelf te komen. Door zijn twee medestudenten op te lichten en hen hun terreuracties te gelde te maken probeert hij zijn obsessie kwijt te raken.
