Wanneer Max erachter komt dat zijn pas ingetrokken vriendin, Evelyn, erg dominerend en manipulatief is denkt hij er over om de relatie te beëindigen. Echter, door een speling van het lot, komt Evelyn om bij een bizar ongeluk. Een paar maanden later ontmoet Max zijn droomvrouw, Olivia.
