Plot

Wanneer nieuwsgierige George de door heimwee geplaagde olifant Kayla ontmoet, de medewerker van een magiër, besluit hij om haar te helpen om haar broers en zussen in Californië te bezoeken. Maar als de magiër zijn volhardende veiligheidschef, Danno Wolfe, het in de gaten heeft dat George de olifant gekidnapt heeft, begint hij een volledig onderzoek om de vermiste dikhuid op te sporen. Met Wolfe op hun hielen, reizen George, Kayle en Ted met de trein, vrachtwagen en zelfs een schoolbus zonder motor. Zij hebben een dolkomische, grensoverschrijdende reis om Kayla te herenigen met haar familie.
