De twintigjarige Daisy lijdt aan overgewicht maar wordt aanbeden door haar werkloze echtgenoot, die ervan droomt ooit geld te kunnen verdienen aan erotische postkaarten van Daisy. Maar ondertussen lopen de schulden hoog op en besluit Daisy te gaan werken in een fabriek. Daar ontmoet ze Marlene, die in het geheim samen met haar gezette vriendinnen sumoworstelwedstrijden organiseert in haar Secret Society. Daisy besluit mee te gaan doen.
