Tony Stilano en Trev Spackneys zijn elk eigenaar van twee aangrenzende afhaalviswinkels in Melbourne waar ze ook in werken en boven wonen. Hoewel er een rivaliteit is ontstaan, besluit het paar hun krachten te bundelen wanneer de internationale fastfoodketen Burgies onthult een nieuwe winkel te openen, direct tegenover hun winkels.
