Joe Toy staat op het punt om volwassen te worden. Hij raakt echter meer en meer gefrustreerd door de pogingen van zijn vader, Frank, om zijn leven te beheersen. Om voor eens en voor altijd vrij te zijn ontsnapt hij samen met zijn vriend Patrick en een vreemde jongen genaamd Biaggio naar een open plek in het bos.
