De film, een romantische musical die de stijl volgt van de muzikale duetten van het beroemde koppel in de televisieshow 'The Sonny and Cher Comedy Hour', is grotendeels een reeks niet-verbonden sketches, parodieën op beroemde personages en muziekstukken. In de film dagdroomt het stel over zichzelf als verschillende personages: een sheriff van het Wilde Westen, een koning van de jungle, een privédetective, Antony en Cleopatra en vele anderen.
Nee, helaas is Good Times nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
