Nadat zowel Andrew als Linda dierbare familieleden hebben verloren, zoeken ze rust om hun verlies te verwerken. De dood van Andrews zus en Linda's man brengt de twee tot elkaar en ze lijken elkaar wonderbaarlijk goed te begrijpen, wat leidt tot een romance tussen de twee. Ondertussen lijkt Andrew ook een helpende hand te zijn voor de zoon van Linda, die het verlies van zijn vader maar niet kan verwerken.
