Rudy Spruance (Biggs) wordt op hardhandige wijze een militair vliegtuig uitgewerkt en ontwaakt in Groenland. Daar ontdekt hij een ziekenboeg met verminkte slachtoffers, waaronder een patiënt, Guy X. Langzaam ontrafelt Spruance de verschrikkelijke geheimen.
