Pistachio Disguisy, een vriendelijke Italiaanse ober, snapt maar niet waarom hij telkens zijn klanten na wil doen, en waarom hij telkens zijn uiterlijk wil veranderen. Wat hij echter niet weet is dat dit een oud familiegeheim is: hij komt uit een lange reeks vermommingsartiesten. Pistachio's vader wordt gekidnapt door aartsvijand Davlin Bowman die als doel heeft om de duurste schatten op de planeet te stelen. Wanneer Pistachio langzaam zijn talent onder beheersing krijgt gaat hij op zoek naar Bowman om zijn ouders te redden.
