De film is opgedeeld in drie verhalen die zich afspelen op een oceaanstomer. In het eerste verhaal wordt een choreograaf (James Mason) gevraagd waarom hij zijn ballet 'Astarte' slechts één keer uitvoerde, waarop een tragisch antwoord volgt. Het tweede verhaal gaat over een Franse au-pair (Leslie Caron). Het derde gaat over een trapeze-artiest met schuldgevoel.
Nee, helaas is The Story of Three Loves nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
