In de straten van Noord-Parijs, in een beroemd getto genaamd La Chapelle, verkoopt Isaac drugs voor zijn vader Abraham. Abraham houdt van geld op een bijna religieuze manier. Rebecca is verliefd op Isaac. Ze wil Isaac helpen een nieuwe levensstijl te vinden.
