De tragische dood van Mr. Mulwanto op een vervloekte dag was het begin van een ramp voor Nuri's familie. Er wordt gezegd dat wie op die dag sterft, zijn familieleden uitnodigt om samen te sterven. Dus werd de achtergebleven familie gevraagd om een reeks rituelen te ondergaan om dit te voorkomen. Wisesa, de oudste zoon die als arts werkt, weigert het ritueel omdat het als onredelijk wordt beschouwd en kiest ervoor om zijn moeder, die nog steeds in shock is, te vergezellen. De vreemde en angstaanjagende gebeurtenissen die Nuri en haar jongere broer Yanda overkomen, dwingen hen echter om de waarheid achter de mythe en het ritueel te achterhalen.
