Een FBI-agent en een L.A.-cop doen onderzoek naar een losgeslagen alien in de straten van Los Angeles. Zij proberen hem op te sporen terwijl de alien zelf bezit neemt van de lichamen van onschuldige mensen en ze transformeert tot bloeddorstige moordenaars.
