Wanneer een ex-agent genaamd Fallon terugkeert naar de plaats van een gruwelijke misdaad, ontdekken de inwoners van een plattelandsstadje al snel dat deze duistere bezoeker in werkelijkheid een vampier is die zich voedt met bloed en angst. Nadat hij bevriend raakt met een vriendelijke immigrantenfamilie, wordt de instinctieve moordenaar geconfronteerd met een keuze tussen wraak en verlossing.
