Ana, net aangekomen uit Colombia, is huishoudster in een luxueus landhuis waar een rijke familie van kunsthandelaren de zomer doorbrengt. De jonge vrouw werkt van zon tot zon, zonder contract, onder de belofte van betere omstandigheden als de zomer voorbij is, zolang ze maar discreet en stil is. Maar via Gisela, de medewerkster van het buurhuis, komt Ana erachter dat de zaken niet precies werken zoals haar is verteld.
