De familie Newton is een doodgewoon gezin. Totdat Beethoven, 80 kilo van liefde, toewijding, moed en kwijl, hun leven en inboedel voorgoed verandert. Ternauwernood ontsnapt aan een stel gemene hondendieven vindt Beethoven bij de Newton's het huis van zijn dromen. Hij slaapt op de bank, speelt in de tuin en kwijlt op bed. Hij doet alles wat zijn baas hem verbiedt en toch wil de familie Newton hem voor geen goud missen.
Nee, helaas is Beethoven nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
