Het dragen van een chadari is een eeuwenoude traditie in Afghanistan en maakt deel uit van de Afghaanse cultuur, aldus de Taliban. Daarom wil deze die traditie weer in ere herstellen. Dus loopt Laili een winkel in Kabul binnen waar ze chadari's verkopen, om haar eerste chadari aan te schaffen. Ze gaat hiermee tevens een onzekere toekomst tegemoet.
