Lenny en Amanda hebben een geadopteerde zoon, Max, die erg intelligent blijkt te zijn. Lenny raakt geobsedeerd met het vinden van zijn echte ouders, omdat hij denkt dat zij ook briljant zouden moeten zijn. Als hij ontdekt dat Linda Ash Max' echte moeder is, is Lenny teleurgesteld. Linda is een prostituee en een pornoster. Bovendien is ze één van de domste mensen die Lenny ooit ontmoet heeft.
