Helen is al 25 jaar getrouwd met Paul. Ze leven een gewoon en alledaags leventje. Helen is depressief en wanhopig en hunkert naar veranderingen in haar leven. Paul, bitter en hypocriet, staat op de valreep om mentaal in te storten. Zijn grootste angst is verandering. In hun leven komt Tasha, een Tsjechische asielzoekster.
