Wanneer haar echtgenoot haar verlaat zonder ook maar vaarwel te zeggen ligt het leven van Terry en haar vier mooie dochters plotseling overhoop. Denny, vriend van de familie, vindt hierdoor zijn weg in het leven van de familie en een complexe en vooral ontwrichte verhouding ontpopt zich tussen Denny en de vrouwen.
