Frankelda, een gefrustreerde jonge Mexicaanse schrijfster uit de 19e eeuw, reist in de vorm van een geest naar een koninkrijk van haar eigen uitvinding dat wordt bewoond door spoken, allemaal monsterlijke personages die ze in haar horrorverhalen heeft gecreëerd. Haar gids is Herneval, de Prins der Spoken, die haar meeneemt om hem te helpen de balans tussen het Rijk van Fictie en het Rijk van het Bestaan te redden door haar talent als schrijver te gebruiken.
Nee, helaas is Soy Frankelda nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
