Billie Frank, een jonge zangeres, wordt na een turbulente jeugd ontdekt door Julian Dice, een charismatische deejay die snel haar partner, producer en geliefde wordt. Met Dice begint ze de weg naar het "superstardom", waarbij ze heel wat problemen moet zien te overwinnen.
