September 1971: een peloton soldaten arriveert in Ft. Polk, Los Angeles voor de training voor ze de Vietnam-oorlog in zullen gaan. De laatste week van de training vindt plaats in Tigerland, een moeras dat lijkt op de situatie in Vietnam. Jim Paxton heeft zich ingeschreven aangezien hij alles mee wil maken en later boeken wil schrijven.
Nee, helaas is Tigerland nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
