Romantiek ontstaat wanneer de eigenaar van een vintage winkel in een kleine stad instructies in haar testament achterlaat voor de inventaris die als kerstcadeaus moet worden uitgedeeld. Haar nichtje van buiten de stad zoekt hulp bij een knappe plaatselijke inwoner om de ontvangers te identificeren aan de hand van de gegeven aanwijzingen.
