In het vervolg op "Friday" uit 1995 wordt Craig (gespeeld door Ice Cube) weer op de hielen gezeten door Debo, die ontsnapt is uit de gevangenis. Uit voorzorg zorgt Craig's vader ervoor dat hij kan onderduiken bij familie, die na het winnen van de lotto in een rustige, rijke buurt wonen. Eenmaal daar beleeft Craig samen met z'n neef Day-Day echter zoveel, dat South Central er niets bij is.
Nee, helaas is Next Friday nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
