Een ongewone, groen getinte tornado valt bovenop een plattelandsdorpje waardoor de 15-jarige Jack Lynch dakloos en vaderloos raakt. Dertig jaar later keert eenzelfde soort tornado terug, alleen nu in grotere aantallen. Jack is nu een professionele weerdeskundige en roept de hulp in van de lokale meteoroloog Gale Morgan. Samen ontdekken ze dat de tornado's in werkelijkheid een dekmantel zijn voor een buitenaardse invasie. Jack en Gale moeten de regeringstroepen zien te ontwijken en het volk te waarschuwen om de invasie te stoppen.
Nee, helaas is Tornado Warning nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
