Het leven van de tiener Buffy staat in het teken van winkelen, winkelen en nog eens winkelen. Dit verandert echter als ze op een dag een man tegen komt die haar informeert over het feit dat zij de uitverkorene is om vampieren te vermoorden. Met de hulp van haar instructeur leert ze te vechten, en samen met haar vriend Pike moet ze de meestervampier zien te overwinnnen.
Nee, helaas is Buffy the Vampire Slayer nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
