Een vrouw wiens bewustzijn tijdens een chirurgische ingreep in de 'eeuwige tijdzone' valt. Gevangen in vele dromen vindt ze een androïde-lijk en probeert het wakker te maken door eindeloze verhalen te vertellen. De androïde dwaalt dan rond in haar verhalen en zijn zintuigen worden geleidelijk wakker.
