Pierre is een gerespecteerd journalist van een kwaliteitskrant. In het verleden heeft hij naam gemaakt als oorlogscorrespondent. Die ervaringen, samen met dramatische gebeurtenissen in zijn privé-leven, hebben zijn sporen nagelaten. Tot zijn afschuw heeft zijn baas hem de opdracht gegeven de populaire soap actrice Katya te interviewen. Geen enkele man zou het erg vinden een avondje met haar door te brengen, behalve Pierre.
