Documentaire die aan de hand van verhalen van ooggetuigen en overlevenden gedetailleerd terugblikt op de terroristische aanslagen van 11 september 2001. Ook wordt belicht welke impact de aanslagen hebben gehad op hen in de 20 jaar daarna. Een van de geïnterviewden is de Schotse kunstenares Vanessa Lawrence. Zij huurde een ruimte in de noordelijke toren. Vanessa werkt nu nog steeds aan een schilderij van de skyline van Manhattan, ter vervanging van een werk dat in de vlammen op ging.
