Een gorilla, die verdwaald is in de ruimte, stort neer op de aarde. Een substantie lekt uit het ruimteschip, waardoor de gorilla en een passerend gilamonster beginnen te groeien. De reusachtige dieren nemen het tegen elkaar op, want er kan er maar een de sterkste zijn. Ondertussen probeert de mensheid te overleven.
Nee, helaas is Ape vs. Monster nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
