Drie verhalen die plaatsvinden op een enkele dag worden in elkaar verweven. De dag waarop Inés (Goya Toledo) ontdekt dat ze zwanger is, Antonia (Carme Elias) besluit om haar familie te verlaten en Marian (Ana Labordeta) beseft dat ze gaat sterven. De film beslaat een stedelijk portret van het dagelijkse leven. Een buitengewoon moment waarop de personages ontdekken dat ze in staat zijn om hun leven opnieuw te beleven.
