Plot

In 2020 was het 80 jaar geleden dat het bloedbad van Katyn plaatsvond, een slachting die 50 jaar lang aan de nazi's toegeschreven werd, maar uiteindelijk het werk bleek van de NKVD. Pas na de val van de USSR gaf Michail Gorbatsjov toe dat de duizenden Poolse soldaten geëxecuteerd werden door de geheime Sovjetpolitie. Aan de hand van archiefmateriaal en animaties schetst deze film het verhaal van het bloedbad zowel van de kant van de slachtoffers als van de beulen.
