Jacob denkt dat hij een wolf is die gevangenzit in een menselijk lichaam. Zijn familie stuurt hem naar een gespecialiseerde kliniek waar hij in contact komt met gelijkgestemde zielen. De kliniek voorziet extreme en wrede therapieën onder leiding van de Zookeeper. Jacob sluit vriendschap met Wildcat met wie hij 's nachts in het gebouw rondsluipt.
