Jackson, een depressieve vrouw, ontmoet voor de eerste keer in haar leven haar vader. Hun ontmoeting gaat van ongemakkelijk naar alarmerend wanneer ze getuige zijn van een man die een klein meisje in haar geheel doorslikt. Deze angstaanjagende gebeurtenis stuurt hen op een wilde rit vol interdimensionale entiteiten, enge kleine meisjes en verlammende onzekerheden over de toekomst.
