Een konvooi kolonisten reist naar het westen om een nieuw leven op te bouwen. Onderweg krijgen deze pioniers last van de Pawnee-indianen en lopen de kans om alles te verliezen. Gelukkig bieden de Sioux-indianen uitkomst.
