Manuel en Lupe willen een baby. Wanneer Manuel ontdekt dat hij onvruchtbaar is, begint hij zowel fysiek als emotioneel uit elkaar te vallen. Na verschillende opties te hebben verkend, wendt Manuel zich tot Rubén, zijn nieuwe vriend, om op te treden als hun donor.
