Als een van de jongste directeuren van een abortuskliniek was Abby Johnson betrokken bij meer dan 22.000 abortussen. Ze gaf veel vrouwen advies bij het maken van deze lastige keuze. Haar passie voor het recht van een vrouw om te kiezen brengt haar ertoe woordvoerster te worden van de organisatie "'Planned Parenthood".
