Twee jonge mannen sterven op de rails van een metrostation, om later weer tot leven te worden gewekt door een mysterieuze zwarte bol genaamd Gantz. Deze twee mannen, Kei Kurono (Kazunari Ninomiya) en Masaru Kato (Ken'ichi Matsuyama), krijgen de opdracht om doelwitten te doden. De meeste van deze doelwitten zijn buitenaardse wezens.
Nee, helaas is Gantz nog niet beschikbaar op Netflix in Nederland.
