Wills is een ex-agent die samenwerkt met Bobby, een gekke helderziende, om de 'Second Sight Detective Agency' te vormen. Bobby's helderziende vermogens komen goed van pas tijdens hun onderzoek. Wanneer een non hen rekruteert voor een zaak rond autodiefstal, krijgen ze plotseling te maken met de ontvoering van een prominente kardinaal die kans maakt de volgende paus te worden. Bobby's paranormale krachten raken in de war terwijl ze de zaak onderzoeken.
