Adrian ervoer een verschrikkelijke tragedie in New York, alvorens hij zijn familie bezoekt in Texas voor de kerstdagen. Hij herenigt zich er met zijn religieuze familie en zijn jeugdvriend van wie hij al lange tijd vervreemd is. Vastbesloten om zijn geheim verborgen te houden moet Adrian zien om te gaan met de verpletterende gevolgen.
